Once a month your team joins a live virtual circle - a guided session designed to release tension, restore focus and rebuild the energy reserves that relentless pressure depletes. Each month a Boro creative kit arrives in the post. A simple but powerful practice using textile and stitch that accesses the parts of us that rational conversation alone cannot reach.
Creative practice has been shown to give benefits of stress reduction, calm and focus. It is not about completion or the finished project, it it about the whole team being present, doing the same task but with no pressure to finish or compete. The nature of the Boro kits gives an opportunity for individual creativity, where people choose to. Simple yet effective, no sewing experience needed.
The Boro kits are made with recycled denim from jeans that would otherwise be thrown away, combined with a pattern template, instructions, needle and cotton threads. This is coupled with guided activity to restore energy balance, to reflect on world and personal events in a safe environment.
This is not a wellbeing initiative. It is an energy management programme. The business outcomes are real: sharper focus, better emotional regulation, stronger retention and a culture that can hold pressure without fracturing.
